The CF:Manager 510 program runs in the Microsoft Windows 3.x, and 95 environments. It uses standard Windows conventions and is easy to learn and use. The CF:Manager provides a simple, cost effective method to extract images and associated indexes from the Canofile 250 and 510 MO disk. The Canon proprietary image converts into one of four standard formats:
The extraction is applied to the full MO disk or selected images. Selection criteria are controlled via the user defined index fields, CELL information, revision date, and creation date. Prior to extraction, the document record and page index information can be examined. The images can be viewed via any TIFF view like the Wang Viewer. * The user defined index information is stored in a standard ASCII comma delimited file format or in several RECORD.OUT formats. The index information can include field label, and CELL information. The CF:Manager can be used as a stand-alone application or integrated into a system as a DDE server. Service Bureau The Canofile 510 and 250 users can convert from the proprietary MO disk format to a self contained CD product. Canofile images are retrieved and viewed on any Windows computer with New:Team SoftWare's CD:Request.
