NTS eBlast
  Home Introduction Quick Help

I have a Tip for you.

If this is the first time that you do an emailing, be sure that the Setup dialog box Mailing Info tab “Delay Between Emails” field value is set correctly.  The delay can be “0” no delay and any number of seconds.  Here there are two philosophies to ponder about: Short delays like “2” to “5” seconds delay will give your Email Virus detection program a change to keep up with the blast. Longer delays like “10” to “30” seconds can be used to not overwhelm your Email / IPS provider, we sure do not want them to think that you are spamming (see FAQ 911007 How to not Spam and FAQ 911009 Why not comply with the CAN SPAM Act of 2003)
Thanks for testing the eBlast program

Welcome to eBlast Quick Start Page.

This Web Page is your eBlast Welcome Screen and it will guide you through the first baby steps in doing an emailing or as we call it eBlasting.  Page 2 of this welcome document will give you more information about the program and let you navigate to the FAQ pages.

On your left side you will see the programs Control Panel.  At the top you have the program logo. If you click on the logo you will see this page.  Below the logo you have the Process Panel with the three links outlining the three steps to create, select and send the eBlasting.  Below the Process Panel you will find the Short Cuts to the Tool Manager and Setup Manager.  But for now we will concentrate on the Process Panel and the three managers: Message Manager, Address Manager and Send Manager.

The Message Manager is use to create the message that you want to send out. The easiest way is to use a pre-done template that is provided with eBlast.  Should you want something else drop us an email and we will try to help you in this matter. Click here to see the help information regarding the Message Manager.

The Address Manager is the database manager that controls the email address to be used in the emailing.  If you are using Outlook eBlast can synchronies it self with all your contacts names. If you have email addresses in CSV format or can export then email addresses from your current contact database then eBlast can import them.  Click here to see the help information regarding the Address Manager.

The Send Manager is the place from where the emails are send from and is the simplest manager of them all since it really only controls pre-view of the email, start send the emails, stop sending the emails and resume sending is something goes wrong. Click here to see the help information regarding the Send Manager.
